Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Herent, HR One Group quickly became a leading executive search firm in life sciences and healthcare. With a strong track record of matching top talent to niche roles, the managing partners were ready to take the next step: find the right acquirer to fuel growth, expand internationally, and secure the future for their team and clients—while keeping the HR One brand alive and thriving.

Once DCF was mandated as exclusive sell-side advisor, we dove deep to understand HR One Group’s business model, market position, and growth potential. Thibault Cloostermans and Sibrecht Debacker mapped the competitive landscape and identified potential acquirers who could complement HR One’s expertise in life sciences and healthcare executive search. Initial conversations were structured to explore synergies, align on strategic priorities, and assess cultural fit.
By clarifying value drivers and expectations early, we facilitated smoother due diligence and negotiations. Our guidance ensured the process remained competitive, disciplined, and fully aligned with the shareholders’ objectives.
HR One Group was acquired by Capenti, backed by Kebek Private Equity, in a structured and competitive sell-side process led by DCF. The acquisition preserved the HR One brand and leadership while providing access to a broader international network and growth opportunities. It ensured continuity for employees, management, and clients.
